This was seriously one of the most beautiful, fun, and touching weddings I’ve ever been to! I was a little nervous at first, because Sarah and I had only communicated through email until we met on the day of the wedding haha. But I could not have dreamed of a better couple to work with! Everything was wonderful, and the wedding party and family were a dream to work with. The ceremony took place at Central Baptist Church in Lexington, and the reception was at the gorgeous grand ballroom of the Signature Club at Lansdowne in Lexington. The Signature Club was truly stunning, and the staff was absolutely fabulous! (If you’re looking for a reception place in Lexington-I highly recommend it!)

I’m pretty sure I say this after every wedding, but it was incredibly hard to narrow down my favorites! But here are some of them, I hope you enjoy! Congratulations, Sarah and Braden!

I shot Bethany and Jerrod’s wedding on Saturday, January 3, and I could not have asked for a better way to start the new year! I had such a wonderful time all day…from hanging out with Bethany at the salon to capturing the party at the reception, it was just absolutely a dream! The love pouring from every person was so apparent. Bethany did such a fabulous job with every detail of the day…I was in detail heaven! And her dress was just so gorgeous! But enough gushing…on to the photos! These photos really put me in a black and white mood too…so there is probably an inordinate amount of black and white photos on today’s post haha.

The day started off at Miles&Associates Hair Design in Lexington, which is totally fabulous!

Gorgeous weather? Check! Gorgeous couple? Check! Fabulous day for a wedding? Check! More than enough love to go around? Check!

I absolutely loved everything about Hannah and Landon’s day. Everyone was so wonderful and so happy to be there to celebrate with Hannah and Landon. Hannah’s sisters and Landon’s sisters helped Hannah get ready, it was so much fun! Due to Landon being in school in Texas, they’ve been apart for 14 of the last 16 weeks, so the love in the room was especially intense!

Hannah and Landon had a flower ring, which is a tradition from Papa New Guinea. Hannah’s parents are missionaries, and they wanted to incorporate this tradition into their ceremony. Each guest put a flower into the wreath to symbolize their support, and the ring was placed around Hannah and Landon. It was very sweet and awesome!

Congratulations, Hannah and Landon! I know God is going to bless you both beyond belief. Best of luck in Texas! Thank you so much for letting me be a part of your day :)

This couple is incredibly special to me. Ashley and I went to church together when I was like, in fifth grade. But more importantly, thanks to her Matron of Honor, Lorraine, I had the chance to take Ashley and Michael’s engagement pictures last summer. They were my first official clients ever, and their wedding was the first I ever booked! I am so thankful for them taking a chance on me and trusting me with their special day, and thanks to that, since last summer I have truly fallen in love with wedding photography!

But enough of that! The entire day was sooo beautiful! I am a sucker for detail shots and they made it easy on me! Everything flowed together so well and despite the very hot and humid weather, everyone was in good spirits and super sweet to be around! Michael took such good care of his bride all day…it was pretty much the sweetest thing ever :) It was hard to narrow down to my favorites, but here are some, plus a slideshow!
