Mallory is a senior at Dixie Heights High School, and is (last I heard) planning on going to WKU next fall. (Go Tops!) Mallory is such a sweetheart and so full of life, and I am so incredibly happy that she chose me to capture such an important time in her life. I first met Mallory four years ago at Aldersgate Camp, where I was working as a counselor. Mallory was in my cabin for senior high camp, and I remember just being blown away by her vivaciousness. It is so cool for me to see how she’s grown since then, and I can’t wait to see where she goes from here!

I have known Liz quite literally since before she was born haha. Her family lived up the street from us, and I was best friends with her older sister. Our moms were pregnant at the same time, and my brother Michael and Liz were born within a week of each other. I was jealous because Marianne got a girl baby…she was jealous because I got “my” baby first haha!

But now, she is grown up and gorgeous! She is a fabulously talented soccer player and basketball player, and is thinking about majoring in engineering in college. Fabulous :) Soooo many to share…but just one for now!

Ummm, gorgeous! Thanks for hanging out with us Liz, can’t wait to show you more!

Tonight I got to take senior pictures for my brother, who will be a senior at Lexington Christian Academy in the fall. I can not believe that he is going to be a senior, and am so proud of what a wonderful young man he has grown into. He is a fantastic musician, super smart, and cracks me up all the time! As of now I think he wants to study physical therapy when he heads to college, which is pretty much awesome!

It was a GORGEOUS day and we had so much fun. Allen is going to be a senior at Todd County Central High School in the fall, and we wanted to go ahead and take a round of photos to get the word out some at TCCHS. He plays football and baseball, and is pretty much just all around awesome. He cracks me up!

Summer, and therefore senior picture time, will be here before we know it! If there are any Class of 2010 seniors out there reading this, go here to email me for more info about scheduling your own awesome senior picture session! My approach to senior portrait photography is extremely laid back, and all about YOU. It is my goal to give you images that are unique and show off your personality. We have a ton of fun…you won’t have to suffer through any “tilt head…freeze…smile….*click*” shots with us!

But…enough of that. On to some pictures! These were all taken on the beautiful square in Elkton.

Funny story about this picture. So we picked up Allen from baseball practice, and brought him clothes to change into for pictures. He comes out of the lockroom saying, “Hey! These match!” And I say, “Well…yeah? That’s kinda the point?” And he says “No good!” Maybe you had to be there…but it was funny. And apparently…he is well known around school for wearing very obviously not matching clothes haha. So this picture is in honor of his characteristic non matching outfits haha.

Mark is the younger brother of one of my dearest friends, Tracy, who also came along for the shoot! We had a ton of fun, and maybe it’s just because Tracy and I are so similar haha, but I almost felt like Mark was my own little brother by the end! Haha. So fun. The whole family was wonderful and humored me in my random driving around Lexington looking for good spots to shoot! So here are a few favorites! Best of luck on your senior year, Mark! Ah! Although she is a senior at LCA, she’s always going to be one of the “eighth graders” to me haha. Kacey was in band in 8th grade my senior year, and one of my favorite band kids ever! She is such a sweetheart and super talented and smart. Kacey plays softball, is a phenomenal clarinet player, and also starts work with a vet tomorrow! (Good luck girl!) We had a lot of fun shooting her senior pictures at Talon Winery and Vineyards this evening, despite the steamy weather and killer cicadas. (You think I’m kidding…I’m not. Haha).
