Rachael & Andrew’s Louisville Engagement Session | Sneak Peek!

What an awesome day! First of course, it’s Veteran’s Day. A huge thank you to all the service men and women who have served our country, past and present. Especially to my brother in law, Allen, who is currently serving in Iraq, my dad, who was in the Marine Corps. (and his birthday is tomorrow!), and several of our wonderful clients (Leslie, Scott, Kristi, Eric, Gerrit, and Aaron!).

Second, it was 11/11/11, which, let’s face it, is just cool

And finally, we shot Rachael and Andrew’s engagement session in Louisville! They both are currently attending the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, which also happens to be where the met and fell in love. So of course we had to start there for our shoot!

So cute!

Then after shooting around Louisville, we ended up at the waterfront by the 2nd Street Bridge right at sunset. Beautiful! Andrew and Rachael walked across the bridge on one of their first dates

Just a quick sneak peek for today! Yesterday was Leslie and Daniel’s Louisville winter wedding. We had an awesome time photographing them, just in time for Christmas

Leslie was a GORGEOUS bride, and smiling and laughing all day long. So fun!

Michelle and Pedro are married! | The Grand, New Albany, IN

12-31-09. New Years eve. Everyone is out partying, watching the ball drop at midnight, and sharing a kiss with their love. But not me…I had food poisoning! But…January 1, 2010 dawned bright and gorgeous (though it was cold!), and I was feeling better and ready to go celebrate Michelle and Pedro’s marriage in New Albany, Indiana!

Their wedding was at The Grand theatre in New Albany, IN (which doesn’t appear to have a website, but you can Google it!), which is a really awesome, gorgeous venue! They had a very small wedding party (one bridesmaid and one groomsman), which made for such a beautiful and intimate ceremony. Michelle’s bridesmaid was her sister, Jennifer, and it was wonderful hanging out with them and their sweet mom all morning! They are such a close family, and it was so beautiful to see and capture

Michelle also did a fantastic job of scouting out some locations for us to take pictures after the reception! It was so much fun! So, here are some favorites
