If you’ve been reading my blog in the last year since we’ve moved to Nashville, you’ve no doubt heard me gush over and over about how much I love Nashville. And every bit of it’s true! But I have to say that the longer I’m away, the more the soft spot in my heart for Lexington, Ky grows. I grew up just outside Lexington (in Nicholasville), and went to school in Lexington from grades 4-12. There is just something beautiful and vibrant about Lexington…especially in the spring!

So I was needless to say, thrilled, when we set a weekend to shoot Tracy and Steven’s engagement session! We chose Keeneland, an icon of horse racing in central Kentucky, and it was glorious in all it’s spring beauty. But even the lovely blooming flowers and bright blue skies paled in comparison to Tracy and Steven and how happy and in love they are Tracy is one of my oldest friends, and I am unbelievably happy that she has found such a soul mate in Steven. The first time I saw them together and hung out with them together, it was like they had always been together. They just fit. And it’s awesome
